Hey guys, we've had a few questions asked to us recently that appear to be the same thing over and over again. So before you ask us any questions, see if you can find your answer here![/size]Setting
What is the world like?
Just like current day, we're a year ahead of real time, so not too much has actually changed. Feel free to include funky new shops in your threads, kooky inventions, and so on. But don't go over board, there aren't any bullet firing toothbrushes.
Can our characters travel?
Yes, they can. There's a category specifically for the rest of the world. There's also a time vortex for you guys to explore. Want to re-enact your character's childhood? Predict their death? It's all available to you.Plot
Has the power thing been around forever?
Yes, it has. It's not a new thing, everyone has always had powers. It's an alternate reality.
If everyone has powers, how do the Anti-Gifted plan to get anywhere?
Think of dictators, they're human, as are we. They used initiative to determine their success. Though there aren't any dictators in SBITL, think of it along those lines.Powers
Where can I find a list of powers?
Aside from thinking up your own, a very useful list can be found here. Even if you have a power in mind, it's useful to look at this list for official names.
Can I have more than one power?
At the moment, two is the maximum. Related powers only. An example would be fire and destruction. Growth and healing, etc.
If someone already has the power I want, can I also have that power?
Yes!
Characters
Can I have more than one character?
You can have as many as you can handle.
Do I have to wait x amount of time to make a new character?
Nope, as long as they're all active, we've no problem with any of that.
Can I make real life characters?
Sure. If you want to make David Beckham, make him. If you want to make the Queen, make her. Make sure you give them powers, and play them appropriately.
Can my character be the best, the most special, best looking creature in the whole world!?

I'm intimidated by the admins, is there anywhere else I can ask questions?
Why are you intimidated by us? We're.. Well, we're humans too. But if you really don't want to voice your question or opinion directly, I'm sure asking another member is a good way to go. Or visiting the world of text and leaving your question there anonymously is also a good way to go. But don't be scared to talk to us! We're not dragons!
Can I make games, graphic shops, and stuff, or is that just for staff?
Of course you can!

Your suggestion may not have been accepted because it didn't suit the board, we didn't understand it, we didn't like it, or we haven't gotten around to discussing it yet.
My question hasn't been answered, why?
We're human, we have lives outside of the internet, and we may not be able to answer your question immediately. This usually shouldn't be the case, so in case you think we've forgotten, send us a message regarding your question.

I'm having issues with another member, what do I do?
Contact a staff member to intervene, or if you don't want to do that, try and be adult and sort it out yourself. If you're upset to the point of quitting, please leave a private message telling us why and who made you want to leave so we can resolve the issue.
